Job Description Our client, a building materials wholesaler, is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join their network infrastructure team. The company is known for being innovative and in a state of continuous improvement. Their IT team is no different, so they need network engineers who are ready to keep their infrastructure up to date and complete a variety of improvement projects in their datacenters.

In this role, you will be helping redesign one of their Dallas-Fort Worth based datacenters utilizing Fortinet and Cisco products. They need someone familiar with spine and leaf architecture, VXLAN, and SASE solutions. Tech wise, they need someone skilled with Cisco (Catalyst/Nexus/DNA Center), FortiGate, VMware NSX, and cloud networking.

This is a direct hire, hybrid-remote (1-2 days onsite) position located in Dallas-Fort Worth. Compensation is a $145-155K annual salary. Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience working in a large scale, multi-vendor datacenter.
  • Knowledge of spine-leaf architecture utilizing VXLAN.
  • Experience working with VMware’s networking products.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • 6-8 years of experience working in a senior level network position.
  • 3+ years working out of a datacenter.
  • Related certifications a plus (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, etc)
