Senior Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Description We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to support a key program based onsite in Dayton, OH. This is a full-time role involving the development and implementation of cybersecurity measures for advanced technical systems in a classified environment. The position requires an active TS/SCI clearance and broad experience with cybersecurity frameworks and secure system development practices. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take a lead role in shaping cybersecurity posture on a high-visibility project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in defense or government-related environments, strong hands-on technical skills, and an interest in mentoring others within a collaborative team. Required Skills & Experience

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• B.S. in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field + 15+ years of experience (or Master’s + 12 years)
• 5+ years as a lead cybersecurity engineer or ISSM
• Expertise in RMF, NIST 800-53, DISA STIGs, SCAP/ACAS, eMASS
• Experience with cross-domain solutions and Type 1 cryptographic architectures
• Hands-on with container security, Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform), and DevSecOps tools like Platform One and Iron Bank

Desired Skills & Experience

• DoD 8570/8140 IAM/IASAE Level III (CISSP-ISSEP, CISM, GSLC, etc.)
• Background in ABMS, CJADC2, OMS/UCI, or tactical data link systems
• Experience applying Zero Trust to SATCOM, SDR, or SDN environments
• Red team or pen test credentials (OSCP, GXPN, CEH)
• Agile/Scrum or SAFe certifications
