Front-end QA Engineer
My team and I are currently seeking a Front-End QA Engineer in Durham, NC. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Mainframe product teams to build an ecosystem of tools and principles aimed at delivering high-quality, accessible, and consistent user interfaces. You will play a crucial part in enhancing their QA processes, ensuring that their products not only meet but exceed user expectations.
Key responsibilities include developing comprehensive test plans and strategies, designing and executing test cases, managing defects, and conducting performance and usability testing. You will also engage in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices to streamline workflows and enhance product quality. Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience working with SDLC(Agile methodologies, kanban, scrum, SAFe).
  • Strong understanding of testing techniques (functional and non-functional) and methodologies (visual, integration, regression).
  • Strong background in manual testing, with expertise in test case development, scenario planning, test planning, verification, validation, and compatibility assessment.
  • Experience with UI and API testing tools and techniques (Jest, Playwright, Cypress, Puppeteer, Postman, SoapUI or Swagger).
  • Ability to effectively debug front-end and back-end issues.
  • Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Rally).
  • Knowledge on CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Gitlab
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Bachelors and 5+ years of experience
  • Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience
