Senior Mainframe and UI Tester

Pyramid System is a large consulting company based in Fairfax, VA. They are looking for a Senior Mainframe and UI Tester who is detailed oriented, analyzes requirements, understands SDLC process, conceives solutions, develops software, creates, and executes test scripts to meet the operational needs of the company. This will be a 100% remote, 6 month Contract - to - Hire role.

The most successful candidates will execute activities applying understanding of COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS Web Services (CWS), ColdFusion, Java, and JavaScript.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience Mainframe Testing
• Solid knowledge and hands on experience of Development Life Cycle and System Testing
• Hands on experience of Endevor and File Manager
• Experience developing timely and accurate status reports, including time reporting and adherence to level of effort (LOE)
• Solid understanding and experience with the following are required:
  • • UI
    • COBOL
    • JCL
    • DB2
    • VSAM
• Knowledge of designing mark up, developing the UI of websites and/or web applications
• Demonstrated understanding of UX and UI design with an emphasis on maximizing usability
