Go DevOps Engineer

Our client, a large airline company, is looking for a Golang DevOps Engineer to join their team. They need someone with experience scripting with Go to help one of their software teams build out their AKS clusters. You will be collaborating with software and platform teams to promote and build automated solutions to common issues.

Tech wise, they need someone strong with Go, AKS, GitHub Actions, and Python. Any experience with mesh overlays, unix networking, or distributed systems concepts is a plus. Must have strong Go programming and DevOps experience.

This is a 3–6-month contract to hire. 3 days onsite in their headquarters by the DFW airport. Compensation is $80-85/hr. Required Skills & Experience

• Experience with Azure DevOps tools and methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of AKS and ability to build out clusters from the ground up.
• Experience automating mundane processes using Go or Python.
• Extensive experience with Go programming.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree or related certifications nice to have.
• Experience with or understanding of network or system infrastructure a plus.
