Senior Robotics Analyst

Position Summary

Our client is looking for a Senior Robotics Analyst to drive the analysis and definition of business requirements for Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Robotic Desktop Automation (RDA) initiatives. This person will ensure automated solutions are accurately designed, aligned with business goals, and thoroughly tested prior to rollout.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with business partners to understand operational needs and convert them into clear, detailed requirements for automation projects.

  • Evaluate existing workflows to identify automation candidates and determine technical fit, complexity, and expected business impact.

  • Produce process documentation, user stories, and functional specifications that guide RPA/RDA development teams.

  • Collaborate with solution architects and developers to ensure automation designs meet documented requirements and adhere to best practices.

  • Lead and coordinate system testing, including test case creation, execution, and validation of results before deployment.

  • Ensure proper documentation, version control, and compliance standards are followed throughout the automation lifecycle.

  • Offer subject-matter expertise on automation design, process improvement, and optimization strategies.

  • Support post-deployment review activities, troubleshooting issues, and recommending enhancements.

  • Provide thought leadership and mentorship to junior analysts and contribute to automation roadmap planning.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 4–7+ years of experience in business analysis or process improvement roles with direct involvement in automation projects.

  • Solid understanding of RPA/RDA tools and ecosystems (UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, NICE, Pega, etc.).

  • Strong ability to document requirements, map complex workflows, and translate business processes into automation-ready specifications.

  • Experience leading system testing, debugging issues, and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT).

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Skills
  • RPA-related certifications or training.

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and iterative delivery models.

  • Experience developing governance documentation or contributing to automation standards.

  • Background in high-volume operations or customer-facing environments where automation drives efficiency.
