Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary System Architect to lead the
design and implementation of scalable, secure, and efficient enterprise solutions. This role involves creating and reviewing system designs, system programming practices, classarchitectures, database diagrams, and other key system design decisions making pivotalarchitecture decisions, and establishing best practices that consider growth and scalability.The System Architect will collaborate closely with the Engineering Group Manager, Director of Product, and DevOps Director to anticipate engineering system needs, ensuring our systems are designed to adapt to evolving requirements. This position is crucial in developing innovative
enterprise solutions for home services, shaping our system protocols and approaches from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
? Architectural Design: Develop comprehensive architectural plans for enterprise
systems, focusing on scalability, security, and performance.
? System Evaluation: Review and assess system designs, class architectures, and database schemas to ensure alignment with best practices and organizational goals.
? Strategic Collaboration: Partner with the Engineering Group Manager to understand and plan for system scalability and growth, aligning architectural strategies with business objectives.
? Decision Making: Make critical architecture decisions that influence the direction of system development, considering factors such as cost, feasibility, and technological advancements.
? Protocol Development: Establish and document system protocols, standards, and methodologies to guide development teams and ensure consistency across projects.
? Innovation: Lead the development of new enterprise solutions tailored to the home services industry, leveraging emerging technologies and industry trends.
? Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate architectural visions and
strategies to stakeholders, including executive leadership, to ensure alignment and support.
? Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams, fostering aculture of continuous learning and improvement
Qualifications and Skills:
? Experience: 10+ years in system architecture or related roles and 15+ years in software engineering, with a proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise-level systems.
? Technical Proficiency: Extensive knowledge of system architecture principles, including experience with various architectural patterns and styles.
? Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on
addressing complex system challenges.
? Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of
articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
? Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
