Senior Solutions Software Engineer / Java / Onsite

A green energy company located in Northern Virginia is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Solutions team. In this role you will work closely with the product engineering team and build specific end to end solutions for clients within the green energy field. This is an opportunity to make a true lasting impact on an ever expanding field and make the energy we all use more sustainable and accessible. 

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 + years professional software development
• Strong capabilities with Java
• Comfortable with multi-threading
• TCP/IP Networking
• Bachelors in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent degree)

Desired Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a product environment
• Experience with Electrical Engineer or similar field
• Exposure to AWS

Tech Breakdown

• 60% Back-End development
• 40% Sever-side Engineering

Daily Responsibilities

• Develop new features of core platform
• Participate in daily Scrum meetings
• Collaborate with team members and steak holders on new product initiatives
