A local Hilton Head Island hotel and resort is looking to hire a Senior System Administrator on a full time direct hire basis.
They are ideally looking for a Systems Administrator that has 8+ years of IT experience. You’ll be responsible for admin and maintenance of Windows and Linux servers in a primarily on-premises environment, managing backups, disaster recovery plans, system security protocols, leading system upgrades, and patching. Some networking responsibilities will include supporting network security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and endpoint protection. Lastly, for the resort itself, providing support for multiple Point of Sale systems, electronic door and locking systems, and configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of resort security camera systems.
This is a full-time direct hire role, onsite in Hilton Head Island, SC. The company is able to provide relocation assistance for the role.

Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or System Administration roles
- Strong experience with Windows, workstations and servers
- Experience supporting and managing IP-based security camera systems and video management software
- Experience supporting network security systems and tools
- Any PowerShell and/or Bash scripting for automation and maintenance tasks
- Any relevant industry certifications, Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco
- Any experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy management
- Bachelors Degree in computer science or related field
Daily Responsibilities
- 100% Hands On – Managing and maintaining IT needs for the resort from Systems, Servers, Network, some physical security cameras, door lock systems, and POS support.
