Senior System Engineer

A dynamic software company located in Bucks County is seeking a Senior System Engineer to lead and maintain their hybrid on-premises and cloud infrastructure. This role is pivotal in driving their ongoing transformation to Azure Cloud environments while ensuring seamless integration and optimization. They are looking for someone who has a core Infrastructure background, including VMware, M365, and Networking; who also has done heavy Cloud work..

As a Senior System Engineer, you will manage and enhance our client's infrastructure, encompassing both traditional on-premises systems and evolving Azure cloud solutions. You will collaborate closely with a growing team of engineers to implement, integrate, and upgrade technologies essential to the company's operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Azure cloud initiatives, focusing on migrations, integrations with M365, and Azure networking and servers.
• Implement and optimize Microsoft 365 suite features such as EntraID, Intune, and Autopilot.
• Contribute to the improvement of virtualization technologies, particularly VMware, in alignment with cloud infrastructure.
• Provide expertise in network engineering, encompassing Cisco Route/Switch, VLANs, VPNs, and firewall management with Sophos and Fortinet.
• Actively participate in projects with a breakdown of approximately 40% cloud/M365, 30% on-premises, and 30% networking responsibilities.
• Engage in both project-based and day-to-day engineering tasks, with a focus on maintaining a robust and secure infrastructure.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong background in virtualization technologies, specifically VMware.
• Extensive experience with Azure cloud projects, integrations, and upgrades.
• Proficiency in network engineering principles, Cisco Route/Switch, VLANs, VPNs.
• Firewall management experience, ideally with Sophos and Fortinet.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 projects, including EntraID, Intune, and Autopilot.
• Knowledge of Mobile Device Management (MDM) using Intune.
• Familiarity with Linux or Windows Server environments.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Exposure to SDWAN technologies and ZeroTrust principles.
• Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.
• Familiarity with MAC environments.
