Azure Cloud Engineer

Our client, a prominent Media company, is looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to manage and enhance their Azure cloud infrastructure. This role requires expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance and security of cloud-based applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize cloud architecture and improve application performance.
• Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance standards for Azure environments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to Azure cloud services, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to cloud architecture, processes, and best practices.
• Automate cloud infrastructure deployment using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Terraform, or Azure DevOps.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer or similar role with a strong understanding of Azure services and architecture.
• Proficiency in Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, Azure Storage, and Azure Networking.
• Hands-on experience with cloud automation tools and technologies.
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools in the Azure ecosystem.
• Understanding of hybrid cloud environments and integrations.
