A government services company is seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team, focusing on designing, engineering, and supporting cutting-edge enterprise infrastructure solutions. This is a hands-on role where you will leverage your expertise in infrastructure engineering to contribute to mission-critical projects.
In this role, you'll be responsible for managing diverse technologies, including enterprise VMware, computing platforms like Dell blade servers, and enterprise storage solutions. You'll play a critical part in ensuring the robustness of backup and disaster recovery systems, supporting software development applications, and mentoring junior team members.
This position is pivotal in executing enterprise-scale projects, where collaboration, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are key.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of infrastructure engineering experience (not administration).
- 5+ years of enterprise VMware engineering.
- 5+ years working with enterprise computing platforms (Dell blade servers preferred).
- 5+ years of enterprise storage engineering (Pure Storage and Object Storage are a plus).
- 5+ years managing enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions (Veeam preferred).
- 5+ years supporting enterprise software development applications.
- Strong team player capable of giving and taking guidance.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior team members.
- Willingness to learn Linux (RHEL) with measurable goals for improvement.
