AI Engineer / Mid-Level / Hybrid / Houston, TX

Our client is looking for a Mid-Level Software Engineer with current Generative AI experience. You would join the Data & AI team for an Enterprise-Level Utilities company. This role is based in Downtown Houston. In this role, you would continue to gain experience with designing, prototyping, and deploying Gen-AI applications, specifically AI Agents.

You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into their business applications at this leading utilities company. A strong candidate will be confident in their Python skills, related frameworks and libraries. Additionally, a strong candidate would be currently working with models such as Claude, GPT, or Gemini.

This is a Hybrid position reporting to the Downtown Houston, TX location, 3-days per week.

Required skills & experience:

• Experience implementing AI/Agentic AI
• Expertise with RAG
• Working knowledge of LangChain and/or LangGraph
• Work with Prompting or Prompt Libraries
• LLMs such as GPT, Gemini, or Claude
• DevOps experience

Desired skills & experience:

• Development of Chat-Bots
• Experience building power-automate workflows
• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
• Previous experience with Docker and Kubernetes
