$50/hr - $80/hr

Job Description A client in the government sector of Indiana is currently looking for a cyber security manager to be both a player and a coach. This dynamic leader would orchestrate a proactive defense strategy, combining cutting-edge technology with strategic planning to safeguard their critical assets This would be an on-going contract or contract to hire opportunity located in downtown Indianapolis.

While high level strategic planning is a critical part of the job, hands on involvement in monitoring and incident response would be crucial for this role. Enabling rapid identification and containment of potential breaches. This manager would cultivate a culture of cybersecurity awareness across departments, conduct training sessions and simulations to empower a common goal of mitigating risks.
Contract Duration: On-going or Contract to Hire basis Required Skills & Experience
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in information security
  • Previous experience working in the network or infrastructure
  • Previous experience handling incidents and coordinating cyber initiatives
  • Ability to work a hybrid work schedule
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Prior experience in government sectors
  • Security certifications
