Installation Technician

A leading communications technology company is seeking an Installation Technician to install and support wireless voice, data, and video systems. You will handle backbone and field hardware, cable pulling, grounding, antennas, line work, and vehicle equipment installations, ensuring reliable performance for government, enterprise, healthcare, education, and commercial customers. The role requires proficiency with schematics, blueprints, mechanical tools, and basic troubleshooting, along with a strong focus on safety and customer service.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience installing communication systems, audiovisual systems, networking, or access control systems.

• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.

• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.

• Strong attention to detail, efficiency, and documentation skills.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs., valid driver’s license, and ability to pass background checks and drug screens.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Familiarity with Motorola digital radio technology, Avigilon Video, and Access Control systems.

• Experience coordinating with customers to manage deadlines and project priorities.

• Commitment to safety, OSHA guidelines, and ongoing training in wireless products.
