A leading communications technology company is seeking an RF Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and support mission-critical public safety and enterprise communication systems. You will deploy, optimize, and troubleshoot VHF, UHF, and 700/800 MHz radio systems, ensuring reliable performance for first responders, healthcare facilities, and other essential organizations. The role requires proficiency with RF systems, networking, hardware/software upgrades, and specialized test equipment, as well as strong documentation and problem-solving skills.
Required Skills & Experience

Hands-on experience with public safety radio systems (VHF/UHF/700–800 MHz) and P25/RF systems.

Networking knowledge (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, cabling, IP configuration).

Troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and system optimization skills.

Associate’s degree in Electronics, IT, or Engineering Technology (or equivalent).

Ability to obtain CET certification within six months.

Valid driver’s license, clean record, U.S. citizenship, and ability to pass background checks.
Desired Skills & Experience

Familiarity with 911/NG911, NICE logging systems, Airbus, or similar infrastructure.

FCC license and additional industry certifications.

Cross-functional collaboration, customer support, and mentorship skills.

Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.
