A leading communications technology company is seeking an RF Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and support mission-critical public safety and enterprise communication systems. You will deploy, optimize, and troubleshoot VHF, UHF, and 700/800 MHz radio systems, ensuring reliable performance for first responders, healthcare facilities, and other essential organizations. The role requires proficiency with RF systems, networking, hardware/software upgrades, and specialized test equipment, as well as strong documentation and problem-solving skills.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Hands-on experience with public safety radio systems (VHF/UHF/700–800 MHz) and P25/RF systems.

  • Networking knowledge (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, cabling, IP configuration).

  • Troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and system optimization skills.

  • Associate’s degree in Electronics, IT, or Engineering Technology (or equivalent).

  • Ability to obtain CET certification within six months.

  • Valid driver’s license, clean record, U.S. citizenship, and ability to pass background checks.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Familiarity with 911/NG911, NICE logging systems, Airbus, or similar infrastructure.

  • FCC license and additional industry certifications.

  • Cross-functional collaboration, customer support, and mentorship skills.

  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.
