Sr. Node Engineer, Event-driven Architecture

This is a startup. Candidates with current or previous startup experience are strongly preferred.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional engineering experience

• Strong proficiency in Node.js

• Deep experience with event-driven architecture and message queues (e.g. Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ)

• TypeScript or JavaScript expertise

• Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or similar)

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field

• Startup mentality: adaptable, collaborative, and hands-on

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with real-time data processing

• Familiarity with social media, content platforms, or community-driven products

• Exposure to microservices architecture

• Understanding of GraphQL or RESTful API design
