This company is looking for a strong Senior Software Engineer (.NET/Azure) to join their Digital Payments Platform team in Irving, TX. Required Skills And Experience
- Background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field — or equivalent practical experience that demonstrates strong fundamentals.
- 5+ years of professional experience working with C# and the broader .NET stack in production environments.
- Hands-on experience integrating digital payment solutions (e.g., Stripe, Adyen) through APIs or within cloud-based systems.
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Azure, especially tools like Azure DevOps, Application Insights, and messaging services like Service Bus.
- Solid experience designing and launching APIs or transactional systems that handle sensitive data securely and efficiently.
- Deep understanding of modern application architecture — including use of design patterns and scalable, cloud-first development principles.
- Experience building and maintaining full-stack applications, with a focus on automation and streamlined deployment pipelines (CI/CD).
- Skilled at troubleshooting, identifying performance issues, and fine-tuning code within .NET environments.
- Capable of developing reusable tools, shared libraries, or templates to improve team workflows.
- Communicates clearly and collaborates effectively across technical teams, including senior engineers, architects, and leadership.
- Skilled in building automated pipelines with integrated testing and security checks.
- Experience with real-time, event-driven systems using Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, or Service Bus.
- Strong background in .NET Core/C# development for enterprise-scale applications.
- Deep knowledge of Azure services, including AKS, DevOps, SQL, Key Vault, API Management, and App Gateway.
- Proficient in deploying containerized apps using Docker and Helm in Kubernetes.
- Strong troubleshooting across cloud, containers, networking, and application layers.
- Agile team experience with a focus on continuous improvement and delivery.
- Leads by example — energizes teams, drives outcomes, and mentors others.
- Trusted technical expert with strong communication and cross-team influence.
- Builds features across web, mobile, APIs, and integration flows — especially involving payment providers like Stripe, Adyen, ACI, or Paymentus.
- Works with cloud-based digital wallets or secure transaction platforms.
- Provides technical direction and mentorship, while consistently delivering results.
- Collaborates cross-functionally and with external partners to drive solutions.
- Deep understanding of Agile and Scrum delivery practices in product teams.
- Leads and supports cloud adoption and migration efforts with strong cloud fundamentals.
- Develops and improves automated CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, high-quality delivery.
- Drives quality through test automation, peer reviews, and a production-first mindset.
- Champions modern software practices that emphasize simplicity, reusability, and security.
- Optimizes database queries and architecture for scalability and performance.
- Promotes continuous improvement in team processes, delivery speed, and product stability.
