Our client, a large construction company, is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join their networking team. In this role, you will be working closely with management and other infrastructure teams to ensure network security and optimization. They ideally need someone strong with Cisco networking, ISE components, and zero trust networks.

The ideal candidate has with enterprise Cisco networks architecture and design and has a strong network security background. One of the first big projects you would be working on is implementing a zero trust network framework, and developing and implementing the security policies for the network. Technically, they are looking for someone skilled with Cisco Nexus, Meraki, ISE, Cloudflare, F5, Checkpoint, and extra bonus points if you’re familiar with Zscaler.

This is a direct hire position, hybrid (50/50 onsite and remote) in Irving, Texas. Compensation is $140-150K with potential for bonuses. Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience with network architecture and design, preferably in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of network security principles and policies – Zscaler/Zero Trust desirable.
  • Knowledge or experience of Cisco ISE components.
  • Excellent collaboration skills – you will need to collaborate with operations, security, and cloud based teams on a regular basis.
  • Ability to own projects and mentor junior level staff.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills – documentation skills are required.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Bachelors or Masters in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, etc) highly desirable.
