Our client, which is a leader in the biotechnology space, is looking for a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join their team. This is a rapidly growing company and is needing another individual who can help with enhancing their overall security posture.

Ideally, they are looking for someone who is skilled with AWS and its security tools - GuardDuty, Config, IAM, Wiz, CloudTrail, etc. They are looking for someone who has good DevSecOps fundamentals plus has a background in Application Security - DAST/SAST. Additionally, this will be a highly collaborative role as you will be working along many IT teams, therefore good communication skills and written abilities is a must.

This is a full-time role, salary will be between $130-160Kfor a salary. The company is hybrid, so will be onsite 3-days (Tues, Wed, Thurs) and 2-days remote. Additionally, this role will offer a bonus and the company provides excellent benefits!

Required Skills & Experience
  • 7+ years of IT/Security/Cloud experience
  • Strong understanding of AWS and cloud security best practices
  • Knowledge with AppSec, IAM, and DevSecOps fundamentals.
  • Working knowledge of auditing processes.


Desired Skills & Experience
  • Bachelors or Masters in an IT related field is a plus.
  • Understanding of NIST Cybersecurity Frameworks is a plus.
  • Strong communication and written skills, as this will be a highly collaborative team.
