Full Stack Java Developer

Grow your career as a Full Stack Java Developer with an innovative global bank in Jersey City, NJ. Contract role with strong possibility of extension. Will require working a hybrid schedule 2-3 days onsite per week.

Will be responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology Team. Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of full stack Java development experience
• 3+ years of experience leading cross functional teams
• Strong written and verbal communications skills as well as strong organizational skills
• Must have strong Angular & Middleware experience.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of Java script and its design patterns.
• In-depth knowledge of Angular core features, Microservices, APIs
• In-depth knowledge of Application design and programming
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
• Experience with application performance enhancement
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree

What You Will Be Doing

• Use hands-on Java development experience to lead integration of functions to meet goals, deploy new products, and enhance processes
• Analyze complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards to define and develop solutions to high level problems
• Provide expertise in area of advanced knowledge of applications programming and plan assignments involving large budgets, cross functional project, or multiple projects
• Develop application methodologies and standards for program analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
• Utilize advanced knowledge of supported main system flows and comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas to achieve technology goals
• Consult with end users to identify system function specifications and incorporate into overall system design
• Allocate work, and act as an advisor/coach developers, analysts, and new team members
• Influence and negotiate with senior leaders and communicate with external parties
