A well-known stable company in the King of Prussia area is seeking a Senior Data Center Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data center infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with VMware, SAN technologies, backups, and Azure cloud services.

- Design, deploy, and manage VMware virtualization infrastructure to support critical business applications and services.
- Implement and maintain storage area networks (SAN) to ensure high availability and performance of data storage systems.
- Develop and execute backup and disaster recovery strategies to safeguard business-critical data and ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement Azure cloud solutions, including infrastructure as a service (IaaS) and platform as a service (PaaS) offerings.
- Perform capacity planning, performance monitoring, and optimization of data center infrastructure components.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations for continuous improvement of data center infrastructure.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to escalated technical issues in a timely manner.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting data center infrastructure solutions.
- Extensive hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi.
- Strong knowledge of SAN technologies such as Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and NAS.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing backup solutions using industry-leading tools such as Veeam, Commvault, or similar.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services and technologies.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification.
- Experience with software-defined storage solutions such as VMware vSAN or similar.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
- Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect).
