A local MSP is growing and looking to hire an Infrastructure Engineer to be the go to Engineer for selected clients. You will be responsible for all areas of infrastructure including servers, network, and cloud. They are looking for someone who can do projects as well as manage day to day engineering tasks. Projects including upgrades, migrations, and implementations. The majority of the environments are Cisco and Microsoft based. You will be dedicated to 2-4 local clients and their go to for all IT Engineering needs.
This is a majority remote role with some travel to clients sites. They are looking for someone who can work independently and has excellent communication skills. - Expertise with Windows/Microsoft Environments
- Strong Virtualization experience with VMware
- Experience working in Hyperconverged environments
- Strong Cisco Networking Expertise
- Expertise with Layer 2/3 switching
- Strong Understanding of M365 Technologies, EntraID, O365, etc.
- Strong Project Experience, upgrades, migrations, implementations
- Ability to handle Tier 3 escalated tickets
- Firewall Experience, FirePower, Palo Alto
- Azure or AWS Cloud Exposure
- 60% VMware/Microsoft
