Solutions Architect, Digital Workspace

A growing company in the Philadelphia area s seeking a Solutions Architect to join their Digital Workspace team. This role will focus on building, setting standards, and driving innovation in a user-centric environment. This role focuses on process improvement, lifecycle management, and platform upgrades. This position offers the opportunity to directly shape the roadmap for a modern and collaborative workspace. You will be working directly with EUC, M365, and VDI technologies.

You will join a small and dynamic team and you’ll work closely with the engineer on projects and roll outs. This company is rapidly growing so it's a great time to join the team. 

Required Skills & Experience

• Expertise in Microsoft 365 Suite (365, Active Directory, Teams, Outlook, Power BI).
• Deep knowledge of desktop engineering, including lifecycle management and endpoint security.
• Experience in mobile device management (MDM) for corporate environments (plants, shop floors, cell phones).
• Hands-on experience with Windows 11 and future upgrade planning.
• Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to roll out platforms and measure digital workspace experience.
• Proficiency in desktop virtualization, digital experience platforms, and modern software lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with macOS support (preferred but not required).
• Background in manufacturing environments (preferred).

What You Will Be Doing Responsibilities:

• Setting Standards & Roadmap: Establish standards and processes for the digital workspace environment, setting a strategic roadmap that evolves with business needs.
• Platform Rollouts: Plan and execute platform upgrades, including MDM and digital workspace solutions.
• Lifecycle Management: Own and oversee the software and hardware lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration with endpoint security.
• Collaboration: Foster collaboration within the Digital Workspace team and cross-functionally with other departments like security.
• Hands-On Architecture: While working at an architectural level, remain hands-on to build and deploy critical solutions.
• End-User Focus: Enhance user experience through thoughtful planning, escalation management, and proactive project work.
