About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to design, guide, and evolve modern cloud-native platforms supporting mission-critical insurance systems. This role sits at the intersection of DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), cloud architecture, and enterprise integration, partnering closely with engineering, security, and operations teams.

You will play a key role in shaping scalables solutions on AWS, Kubernetes, and MuleSoft Runtime Fabric, enabling highly available, secure, and scalable platforms that support both digital customer experiences and core insurance operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect end-to-end cloud and platform solutions leveraging AWS services, Kubernetes, and containerized workloads

  • Design and evolve DevOps and SRE practices, including CI/CD pipelines, observability, incident response, and reliability engineering

  • Lead the architecture and implementation of MuleSoft Runtime Fabric on Kubernetes for enterprise integration use cases

  • Define platform standards for availability, scalability, resiliency, security, and cost optimization

  • Collaborate with application teams to modernize legacy systems and migrate workloads to cloud-native architectures

  • Provide architectural guidance and hands-on leadership during solution design, proof-of-concepts, and production deployments

  • Partner with security and risk teams to ensure solutions meet regulatory, compliance, and data protection requirements common to the insurance industry

  • Create and maintain architectural artifacts, reference architectures, and technical roadmaps

  • Mentor engineers and influence best practices across DevOps, SRE, and cloud engineering disciplines

Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in software, platform, or infrastructure engineering, with at least 3 years in an architecture or senior technical leadership role

  • Deep experience with AWS (e.g., EKS, EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, CloudWatch)

  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes and container platforms (EKS preferred)

  • Hands-on experience with DevOps tooling and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Argo CD, Terraform)

  • Solid understanding of SRE principles: SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, monitoring, alerting, and incident management

  • Experience designing and supporting MuleSoft Runtime Fabric deployments on Kubernetes

  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code, automation, and configuration management

  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in insurance, financial services, or other highly regulated environments

  • AWS Professional certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) or Kubernetes certifications (CKA/CKAD)

  • Experience with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd)

  • Familiarity with zero-trust networking and cloud security best practices

  • Experience supporting large-scale, highly available production systems

What We Offer
  • Opportunity to shape cloud and platform strategy at an enterprise scale

  • Work on systems that directly impact customers and core insurance operations

  • Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits

  • Collaborative, engineering-driven culture with strong investment in modern cloud technologies
