Role Overview:
As a Data Platform Architect, you will be the cornerstone of the company’s data transformation journey, focusing on designing and deploying next-generation data architectures. You’ll collaborate closely with product teams, data scientists, and business leaders to craft solutions that meet both present and future data needs. This is your chance to shape the company's data vision, influence strategic decisions, and drive impactful change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance data architectures and platforms.
  • Develop and deploy robust data pipelines, ensuring the smooth extraction, transformation, and loading of data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective data solutions.
  • Establish and enforce data governance policies that ensure compliance, security, and integrity across the platform.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize system performance to ensure data is readily accessible and actionable.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending tools and techniques to enhance the platform.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar technical role, with a strong background in data platform design.
  • Deep expertise in cloud-based data storage and processing solutions, especially Snowflake or similar technologies.
  • Proven experience in managing ETL workflows and large-scale data integration.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and system architecture.
  • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform) and data orchestration tools (e.g., DBT).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams across the organization.

Education:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
