Data Science Director (Hybrid / City of Industry)

We’re looking for a Director of Data Science to lead the transformation of our data capabilities and create a robust infrastructure that drives business success. This leadership role will focus on building and scaling data systems, optimizing workflows, and using machine learning to deliver actionable insights.

In this position, you will oversee the design and implementation of data pipelines, manage data engineering efforts, and ensure data-driven decisions across various teams. You’ll work closely with senior leaders to identify opportunities for data-driven solutions and ensure the integration of Microsoft technologies like Azure, MS SQL, and Power BI.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of experience in data science and engineering, with a proven track record of building data infrastructure from the ground up and leading successful data teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and lead a high-performing data team focused on analytics, engineering, and machine learning.

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines and systems to support business objectives.

• Use machine learning and predictive analytics to optimize operations and decision-making.

• Leverage Microsoft technologies like Power BI, MS SQL, and Azure Cloud for data integration.

• Collaborate with leadership to align data strategy with business goals and ensure data governance.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 15+ years in data science, engineering, and analytics, with leadership experience.

• Proven experience building data infrastructure and systems from scratch.

• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Microsoft technologies.

• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

This role is hybrid, with 2-3 days a week in the City of Industry.
