This is a full-time hybrid role (3 days onsite) where you’ll design and secure Linux-based embedded platforms powering critical communications technology. Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ focused on Linux/embedded systems security
- Expertise with Linux network security, secure coding, and embedded platforms
- Scripting/coding in C/C++, Python, Bash, or Assembly
- Experience with Linux security tools (Auditd, Lynis, vulnerability scanners)
- Secret clearance or ability to obtain within 12 months
- Must be a U.S. Person (Citizen or Permanent Resident)
- Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, CS, or IT
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, Security+, LFCS, or RHCE
- Experience with SELinux, AppArmor, iptables, and security assessments
- Familiarity with CIS Benchmarks, NIST SP 800-53, or STIGs
- Container security (Docker, Podman) and cloud integration
- Knowledge of TPM, Secure Enclave, or real-time Linux systems
