We’re looking for an Engineering Manager, Machine Learning to lead a talented team of ML engineers focused on enabling expressive and performant AI avatars. In this role, you’ll manage end-to-end model development, from research to production, and contribute to a tech stack that blends generative AI, graphics, and interactive systems. In this role, you’ll manage end-to-end model development, from research to production, and contribute to a tech stack that blends generative AI, graphics, and interactive systems. Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in machine learning or related fields
- 2+ years of leadership or engineering management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
- Deep understanding of bringing ML technologies into production environments
- Proficient in designing and optimizing ML models for 3D graphics, mesh deformation, textures, and rendering pipelines
- Strong knowledge of generative AI models (e.g., Diffusion, VAEs, GANs, NeRF)
- Familiarity with LLM and NLP model evolution and application
- Experience with real-time rendering engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal)
- Strong skills in C++ or CUDA for accelerating ML-based rendering workflows
What You Will Be Doing

- Experience working with OpenUSD, Houdini, and shader development
- Prior experience in avatar systems, creative tooling, or social gaming platforms
- Deep understanding of AI content generation pipelines and interoperability
- Background in organizations building expressive UGC ecosystems or game development platforms
- Exposure to large-scale ML infrastructure and optimization for interactive experiences
