Mid Level Data Engineer / GraphQL / Down Town LA

As they continue to scale their data infrastructure, they are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Python, SQL, Airflow, DBT, GraphQL, and a strong proficiency in AWS to join their team. As a Data Engineer at their company, you will find an exciting, fast paced, innovative environment where you will play a key role in shaping the future of hardware manufacturing by leading the design, build, and optimization of data pipelines, managing and monitoring data infrastructure, integrating external APIs and data sources, as well as utilizing AWS services to deploy and manage data infrastructure. Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years in a Data Engineer or similar role
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Logistics, or related field (preferred)
• Proficient in Python, SQL, Airflow and DBT for ETL and data processing
• Experience working with GraphQL for querying, data manipulation & transformation from APIs to data systems
• Strong knowledge of AWS tools for data management and deployment purposes

What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown

• 80% Data Engineering (Python, SQL, Snowflake)
• 20% Supporting DevOps & MLOps

Daily Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines that process and transform large volumes of both structured and unstructured data
• Overseeing and monitoring data infrastructure for reliability, scalability, and performance
• Using dbt to transform, clean, and structure data for analytics purposes
• Integrating external APIs, including GraphQL APIs, and deploying and managing data infrastructure through AWS
