Role Overview:
As a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and optimizing the company’s data platform to ensure it’s future-ready. You will drive key projects related to data architecture, system integration, and performance enhancement, providing technical leadership across a wide range of data-driven initiatives. You’ll be responsible for shaping both the short and long-term data infrastructure strategy, while ensuring robust and efficient data management practices are in place.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and optimization of a high-performing data architecture to support business needs
  • Innovate and improve ETL pipelines and large-scale data workflows to ensure seamless integration across systems
  • Provide technical leadership on all aspects of data governance, security, and quality assurance
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data infrastructure supports organizational growth and data-driven decision-making
  • Own and manage the integration of Snowflake and other tools, ensuring top-tier performance and scalability
  • Help drive the vision of next-generation data platforms and ensure alignment with long-term business goals

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or a similar technical role
  • Deep expertise with Snowflake, DBT, and Terraform, with a focus on building robust data platforms
  • Proficiency in creating and optimizing ETL pipelines and handling large-scale data workflows
  • A deep understanding of data security, governance, and performance tuning best practices
  • Strong SQL skills, coupled with advanced experience in data modeling and architecture
  • Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment and drive results through technical innovation and leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
  • Previous experience building or scaling a data platform in a rapidly evolving industry
