Principal Embedded Engineer / C, C++, RTOS

My client is a leading company in the field of cutting-edge Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) communication systems, specifically designed for tactical applications. Their flagship product line features advanced Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) radios, providing secure and reliable wireless communication in the most demanding environments—without the need for fixed infrastructure. These solutions are trusted by military, law enforcement, and commercial sectors to ensure dependable transmission of voice, video, and data.

They are currently seeking a Principal-level Embedded Engineer with expertise in RTOS and C/C++.

Key responsibilities include:

• Implementing software for Medium Access Control (MAC) and mobile ad-hoc networking routing protocols.
• Developing network management software and web interfaces.
• Implementing various security protocols and encryption algorithms.
• Designing and implementing audio streaming and push-to-talk voice applications.
• Developing testing software for product performance and reliability evaluation.
• Creating and maintaining device drivers and board support packages for ARM and RISC-V-based systems.
• Customizing Linux systems and scripting.
