Senior Data Infrastructure Engineer (Flexible)

In this critical role, you’ll lead the design and enhancement of robust data systems, overseeing data processing, storage solutions, and ensuring optimal performance. Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead the management and optimization of the company’s data systems, including cloud-based platforms and data warehouses.
• Take ownership of critical data governance practices, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance.
• Design and implement scalable and efficient ETL pipelines that handle high volumes of data from diverse sources.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering teams to integrate data solutions into business processes and tools.
• Provide thought leadership on best practices for data architecture, infrastructure, and performance tuning.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to succeed.

Key Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, platform engineering, or a similar technical role.
• Expertise in cloud data platforms (preferably Snowflake) and associated technologies.
• Extensive experience with ETL tools, data modeling, and managing large-scale datasets.
• Strong command of SQL and experience with tools like DBT, Terraform, and other data orchestration platforms.
• Proven track record of implementing and managing data architectures that scale efficiently and securely.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
