Job Description
This is a full-time senior leadership role with a global financial services organization, focused on building next-generation data architecture and engineering solutions. The company emphasizes a collaborative, high-performance culture that values innovation, governance, and the ability to deliver data-driven insights at scale. You will lead a specialized data engineering and architecture function, shaping the long-term roadmap for enterprise data strategy and governance while enabling efficiency, scalability, and trusted analytics across the firm.
The position offers a flexible hybrid schedule with U.S. office locations and occasional on-site collaboration with stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone who can combine deep technical expertise with strong leadership and strategic vision to drive enterprise-wide impact.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 15+ years of experience in the data and analytics space, including 10+ years in data engineering, architecture, or governance leadership roles
  • Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale data architectures and strategies
  • Expertise in modern cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, including Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, and Data Lake solutions
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, metadata management, data lineage, and quality frameworks
  • Ability to oversee and scale large, complex data pipelines and warehousing environments
  • Experience partnering with stakeholders across investment, operations, and risk functions to deliver data solutions that drive measurable value
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related field
  • Knowledge of asset management, investment data, and market data sources (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Morningstar, ESG)
  • Experience managing cross-functional data teams, including engineers and architects
  • Strong understanding of advanced analytics, AI/ML integration, and enterprise reporting needs
  • Background in financial services, investment management, or other highly regulated industries
What You Will Be Doing – Daily Responsibilities
  • Define and execute a comprehensive enterprise data strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Lead the design, implementation, and governance of scalable and reusable data platforms
  • Oversee the movement, transformation, and storage of large, diverse data sets in cloud environments
  • Build and optimize pipelines, warehousing, and analytics workloads to support firmwide reporting and insights
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to ensure alignment and adoption of data solutions
  • Manage a team of engineers and architects to deliver high-quality, secure, and compliant data assets
  • Establish and enforce best practices around governance, quality, and data lifecycle management
