Job Description

A major entertainment company is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their team that's focused on delivering exceptional digital and physical experiences.

The team leverages cutting-edge technology and provides expert engineering services in cloud, automation, and systems reliability to support both innovation and operational excellence.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years in Site Reliability Engineering

  • 3+ years managing guest-facing enterprise applications or websites

  • Skilled in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, ECS)

  • Proficient in AWS, Google Cloud, or similar cloud platforms

  • Strong UNIX/Linux administration, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and security

  • Experienced with CI tools (e.g., Jenkins) and Agile environments

  • Configuration management and orchestration tools (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, Chef)

  • Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Go, Ruby, Java)

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience in high-capacity, scalable, mission-critical web environments
  • ???????Knowledge of distributed data platforms
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and team-building skills with the ability to thrive under pressure 

What You Will Be Doing

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Implement and deploy cloud systems with self-healing, infrastructure-as-code, and automation best practices

  • Create telemetry, alerts, and response mechanisms to mitigate reliability risks

  • Join on-call rotations alongside engineering teams

  • Champion new technologies, ideas, and best practices across the engineering community

  • Lead and collaborate with teams to drive technical excellence
