Senior GCP DevOps Engineer / Marietta, GA / Hybrid

A major player in the software industry is growing their Marietta team. They are hiring for a Senior DevOps Engineer to work for them full-time and in their office 3-4 days per week. You will be handling a variety of initiatives for their team as they migrate over legacy systems to a modernized technology stack.

In this position, you will be helping with CI/CD pipeline projects, site reliability projects, and automation efforts. They are looking for someone who can build support legacy infrastructure in the Microsoft stack, handle regular builds and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, and optimize cloud infrastructure with GCP. A strong candidate will have a background with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Azure DevOps.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7-12 years of experience in a DevOps Engineering position
• Strong skillset with GCP, AWS, or Azure cloud
• Ability to oversee maintenance of automation pipelines using Circle CI or Github Actions
• Observability and monitoring skillset
• Advanced knowledge of Terraform / Azure DevOps
• Development background with C#, Python, or Java

Desired Skills & Experience

• GCP Architect Certification
• Comfortability with hybrid schedule
• BS in CS or similar degree
• Previous legacy cloud migration experience
• Problem solving mindset
