Senior C++ QT Software Engineer - Med Device

Our client, a leading innovator in the medical device industry, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in C++, Qt, and image processing/computer vision. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to advanced diagnostic and imaging solutions that have a real impact on patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C++ and the Qt framework

• Implement and optimize algorithms for image processing and computer vision

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams (hardware, systems, QA)

• Contribute to software architecture and design discussions

• Ensure software complies with regulatory and quality standards (e.g., FDA, IEC 62304)

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience in C++

• Strong experience with Qt for GUI and application development

• Hands-on experience with image processing and/or computer vision libraries (e.g., OpenCV)

• Familiarity with medical device development or regulated environments is strongly preferred

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
