Required Skills & Experience
  • 1-2 years of intermediate experience with backend Java application development.
  • Must be strong in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
  • Experience with SQL (basic queries, stored procedures)
  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts, basic knowledge of Version Control (Git)
  • Business knowledge of Financial Markets, and Back Office function.
  • Strong Analytical, Problem-solving, and communication skills.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Programming & frameworks: Hibernate, Java EE
  • Databases: Oracle, Mongo DB
  • DevOps & Tools: JIRA, CI/CD tools
  • Messaging & Cloud experience: Kafka, ECS. Dockers, Kubernetes, OpenShift
  • Exposure to financial markets / services domain
What You Will Be Doing
  • Will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting backend applications, with a strong focus on Java and microservices.
  • Will contribute to system analysis, programming, troubleshooting, and implementation of solutions in coordination with the technology team.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using java and related technologies.
  • Build and support microservices-based solutions, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code aligned with business requirements.
  • Perform application testing, debugging, and security/vulnerability assessments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver client-focused solutions.
  • Provide technical support, resolve complex issues, and ensure smooth deployments.
  • Operate with limited supervision, exercise independent judgment, and mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.
