Required Skills & Experience
- 1-2 years of intermediate experience with backend Java application development.
- Must be strong in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
- Experience with SQL (basic queries, stored procedures)
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts, basic knowledge of Version Control (Git)
- Business knowledge of Financial Markets, and Back Office function.
- Strong Analytical, Problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Programming & frameworks: Hibernate, Java EE
- Databases: Oracle, Mongo DB
- DevOps & Tools: JIRA, CI/CD tools
- Messaging & Cloud experience: Kafka, ECS. Dockers, Kubernetes, OpenShift
- Exposure to financial markets / services domain
- Will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting backend applications, with a strong focus on Java and microservices.
- Will contribute to system analysis, programming, troubleshooting, and implementation of solutions in coordination with the technology team.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using java and related technologies.
- Build and support microservices-based solutions, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code aligned with business requirements.
- Perform application testing, debugging, and security/vulnerability assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver client-focused solutions.
- Provide technical support, resolve complex issues, and ensure smooth deployments.
- Operate with limited supervision, exercise independent judgment, and mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.
