Required Skills & Experience
- 2-4 years in a Data Analyst, Data Governance, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of data governance, lineage, and profiling methodologies.
- Understanding of metadata management and master data principles.
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation.
- Advanced SQL tuning and optimization.
- Experience with Agile delivery practices.
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience in Data quality checks, impact assessments.
- Strong Jira and Bitbucket, Confluence, metadata management.
- Experience with process mapping, lineage documentation.
- Exposure to Jira/Bitbucket preferred
- Will support data governance, data quality, and reporting initiatives within financial services and payments platforms.
- Will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide insights, improve data quality, and support enterprise data initiatives.
- Apply strong data analysis and governance practices to ensure integrity, lineage and quality across enterprise data.
- Perform data profiling, validation, and impact assessments to maintain accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Design and implement SQL queries for reporting, analysis, and data validation,
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define data requirements and standards.
- Support documentation of data dictionaries, metadata, and lineage tracking.
- Provide insights to improve decision-making through data-driven analysis.
- Work with development and project management teams using Agile tools (Jira, Bitbucket).
- Contribute to process improvement and automation of data quality checks.
