Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of experience with backend Java application development.
- Must be strong in core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Hands-on experience with databases, SQL, Oracle, MongoDB.
- Exposure to messaging systems (Kafka, MQ), and cloud environments (ECS, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and CI/CD automation pipelines.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC best practices.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with banking and financial services is a strong plus.
- Programming & frameworks: Hibernate
- Databases: Oracle, Mongo DB
- DevOps & Tools: GitHub/Version Control, JIRA, Automation tools
- Messaging & Cloud experience: Kafka, ECS. Dockers, Kubernetes, OpenShift
- Exposure to financial markets, preferably banking back-office functions
- Lead the design and development of backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Develop high-performance, secure, and scalable application components.
- Collaborate with product Owners, architects, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Ensure best practices in software design, code reviews, testing, and security.
- Implement and optimize database solutions using SQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
- Build and support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
- Leverage messaging systems (Kafka, MQ) and cloud-native platforms (ECS, Kubernetes, OpenShift) to enable distributed solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement robust fixes.
- Mentor junior developers, guiding them in technical execution and professional growth.
