Grow your career with an innovative global bank as Senior Data Analyst in Mississauga, Ontario. Contract role with strong possibility of extension or conversion. Will require working a hybrid schedule 3 days onsite per week.

The role combines strong technical skills (SQL, data governance, data profiling) with business acumen and compliance awareness. Required Skills & Experience
• Develop. Optimize, and validate complex SQL queries to support reporting and analysis.
• Design and implement SQL queries for reporting, analysis, and data validation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture data requirements and align solutions to compliance and regulatory needs.
• Partner with technology teams to implement Agile delivery practice and manage tasks in Jira.
• Provide subject matter expertise on data quality frameworks and lineage documentation.
• Mentor junior analysts, providing guidance on best practices and advanced data management techniques.
• Support integration with metadata and governance tools (Collibra, MetadataHub).
• Work with cross functional teams to implement automation tools (e.g., Ab Initio) to improve data processing efficiency.
• Contribute to documentation of data dictionaries, standards, and lineage mapping for enterprise data assets.

Required Skills & Experience
- 4-6 years in a data analysis, governance, or related roles.
- Strong expertise in data governance, lineage, and profiling.
- Proficiency in SQL for advanced analysis, validation and reporting.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools such as Jira.
- Excellent problem solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Hands-on experience with Python for advanced analysis or automation.
- Exposure to Ab Initio or similar ETL/data integration platform.
- Familiarity with Collibra and MetadataHub for data governance.
