Principal QA Engineer - New Castle, Delaware

Seeking an experienced Lead/Principal QA Engineer to join the team in New Castle, Delaware. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in test automation, leadership, and a passion for driving quality in software development. The right candidate will have experience leading and mentoring QA engineers while remaining hands-on with automation frameworks and testing strategies. Experience needed: Selenium, React, Coding with Java, Python or similar and heavy API testing. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, ensuring best practices in automation and testing
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium
• Conduct API testing with Postman to validate system integrations and functionality
• Perform front-end testing with React, ensuring a seamless user experience
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to enhance software quality
• Oversee test strategies, regression testing, and continuous improvement of QA processes
• Work within Agile methodologies, using Jira for test case management and bug tracking

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in test automation with Selenium
• Strong API testing expertise using Postman or similar tools
• Hands-on experience with React testing frameworks
• Proven track record of leading and mentoring QA teams
• Experience working in Agile environments with CI/CD integration
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
