Role Overview:
A leading company in the insurance space is seeking a mid-to-senior-level Database Administrator (DBA) to support their Microsoft-based environment. This fully remote role focuses on automation and scaling platforms while working with SQL and scripting tools.
Required Skills & Experience
- Mid-to-senior-level experience as a Database Administrator
- Proficiency with Microsoft SQL for database administration
- Scripting experience using PowerShell and Bash
- Familiarity with automation job scaling platforms (ActiveBatch preferred but not required)
Preferred Skills
- Experience working within Azure and AWS cloud environments
- Understanding of database automation and scaling strategies

Daily Responsibilities
- 60% Hands-on database administration and automation
- 20% Collaboration with IT and infrastructure teams
- 20% Enhancing workflow automation and database performance
The Offer
- Base Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000
- Contract-to-Hire (6 months)
