Cloud Engineering Manager

A prominent financial services firm is seeking a Manager of Cloud Engineering to lead its innovative Cloud Services team. This role involves designing, implementing, and automating modern cloud infrastructure solutions while managing a skilled team.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of IT infrastructure experience, including 5+ years managing cloud-focused teams.
• Extensive multi-region Azure experience, managing 3-4 active production regions globally.
• Proficiency with Terraform for deploying and managing Azure resources using IaC principles.
• Experience migrating on-premises workloads to Azure and using Azure Landing Zone architecture.
• Expertise in PowerShell and/or Python scripting.
• Strong understanding of IAM (Azure AD, OKTA), cloud security controls, Windows Server, Linux, and AKS.
• Advanced knowledge of OSI network layers, WAN/LAN, and network security.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Excellent communication and business analysis skills for diverse stakeholder engagement.
• Familiarity with GIT branching strategies and modern service hosting concerns.
• Microsoft/Azure certifications are a plus.
