Our client, in the Entertainment industry is looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer who will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing their Azure DevOps environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and a passion for optimizing development and deployment processes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects and make a significant impact on the organization’s technology landscape.
This company is ideally looking for a DevOps with coding experience (JavaScript, Python, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD).
  • Collaborate with development teams to define and implement DevOps strategies, including infrastructure as code (IaC) and automated testing.
  • Manage and optimize Azure cloud resources and services to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot DevOps processes and environments, addressing issues promptly to minimize impact.
  • Implement and enforce best practices for version control, configuration management, and deployment processes.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to DevOps processes, pipelines, and infrastructure.
  • Stay updated with Azure DevOps tools and technologies, incorporating new practices and features as applicable.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for production incidents as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience with Azure DevOps, including pipeline creation, release management, and environment configuration.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and services, particularly within the Azure ecosystem.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of version control systems such as Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
