Our client is a cutting-edge AI startup transforming how executive teams operate. Inspired by the Chief of Staff role, their platform helps C-suite leaders make better decisions, automate routine tasks, and extract insights buried in meetings, emails, and chats. With offices in New York and San Francisco, they embrace a flexible hybrid work model designed to support innovation and impact.

They’re looking for a hybrid designer-builder: someone who can create elegant user experiences and also turn them into working products. You might be a technical Product Designer with front-end skills or a front-end engineer with a deep design sensibility. Either way, you're comfortable taking ideas from concept through to functioning interface—whether that’s via code, AI-assisted tools, or modern no-code platforms.

Requirements

  • Strong product design portfolio with shipped 0?1 products

  • Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or similar)

  • Ability to build working prototypes and MVPs independently

  • Deep user empathy and a clear, iterative design process

  • Experience in fast-paced startup environments

  • Comfort working with AI, automation, or unstructured data tools

Responsibilities

  • Own the design and implementation of core user experiences

  • Translate complex workflows into intuitive, elegant UI

  • Collaborate with product and engineering on rapid iteration

  • Prototype and ship front-end features or flows

  • Establish and evolve design systems and visual identity

  • Continuously incorporate user feedback and data into your work

This is a hybrid role based in NYC (3 days/week in office). Compensation includes a base salary of $140K–$150K plus equity.
