Job Description
Our client is a New York-based technology company developing software that empowers users to take control of their personal data while making it easier to connect with others through shared interests. Their flagship mobile app automatically tracks what users watch, listen to, and read, creating a digital record of their consumption. This helps users reflect on their habits, uncover patterns, and share their interests with friends. Powering this app is a secure data platform that acts as a "passport" for personal data, allowing users to decide when and how to share their information with other apps and services. By shifting control from companies to individuals, this technology enables businesses to offer personalized experiences without relying on traditional tracking methods, fostering a more user-centric and privacy-focused internet.
They are looking for a Founding Product Manager to help develop and expand their core product. In this role, you will work closely with the CEO and various teams to improve the user experience, launch new features, and ensure smooth collaboration between design and engineering. You will play a key role in prioritizing product improvements, making data-driven decisions, and helping shape the future of how users interact with their data.
Requirements:- 5-7 years of experience in product management in consumer apps or gaming. This is a MUST HAVE requirement,
- Strong understanding of user experience, engagement, and retention strategies.
- Technical background or experience working closely with engineering teams.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate across teams.
- Ability to balance big-picture strategy with hands-on execution.
- Lead product development and ensure timely delivery of new features.
- Define product priorities based on user research and data insights.
- Work with design and engineering teams to create seamless user experiences.
- Oversee sprint planning, backlog management, and product execution.
- Communicate goals and updates across the company to keep teams aligned.
This role offers a salary between $150k and $190k, along with equity in the company. Employees work in-person at their West Soho office, collaborating in a fast-paced, creative environment. This is an opportunity to be part of a highly ambitious team shaping the future of digital identity and personal data control.
