NYC only // Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

A health-tech company in NYC is looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join their team. The company has an AI driven software that is used to coordinate the positioning of healthcare workers throughout NYC. 

The role is a prime position for career growth. It's the first dedicated security engineer being hired, and you'll be in a perfect spot to facilitate the growth of the entire program. 

We're looking for someone who has generalist cybersecurity experience and comfort learning new toolsets. Any previous experience with event monitoring tools like Splunk or LogRhythm, or network security tools, firewalls and switches, will be a big help.

Requirements:

• 6+ years in cybersecurity engineering
• Experience with any major SIEM tool
• Experience with network security tooling, firewalls and switches
• Scripting experience is a huge plus, since we'd love to automate any parts of the environment that we can
