Job Title: Product Designer
Location: Must be based in NYC and able to meet as needed. Most likely won't be a weekly basis.

Based in NYC with a flexible remote setup, our client is an early-stage, self-funded startup developing a powerful workflow automation platform. They're moving fast and building from the ground up, led by sharp, driven founders focused on delivering clean, scalable solutions for complex problems.

They’re searching for a founding product designer with a standout portfolio to lead design across the product. This role is hands-on and high-impact — you’ll shape the user experience, define visual direction, and work closely with the founding team to turn intricate workflows into clean, intuitive, and beautiful interfaces.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product design, ideally with B2B SaaS tools

• Exceptional visual design and UX skills

• Strong portfolio with end-to-end case studies and polished, high-quality UI work

• Skilled in responsive design and accessibility standards (WCAG)

• Comfortable with the speed and ambiguity of an early-stage startup

• Based in NYC or able to meet in person as needed

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design across the web app

• Translate complex systems into simple, user-friendly interfaces

• Set UX strategy and define design systems from scratch

• Collaborate closely with founders and engineers to ship quickly and iterate
