Lead Software Engineer with a Manufacturing Company in Rhode Island

Job Description A global manufacturer is hiring a Lead Software Engineer for their team. As a Lead Software Engineer, you’ll oversee a small team of engineers and work on developing out their web and mobile focused applications. This role is a fulltime direct hire and is hybrid 3 days a week in Newport, RI. The company has a mix of web and mobile applications that connect with IoT devices to take in readings on temperature and chemical balances. You’ll be working scaling out their backend systems in .NET and Node.js as well as lead the development of their React Native mobile application. Required Skills & Experience

• Exposure to AWS

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience working in the manufacturing or IoT industry
• 7+ years of development experience
• Degree in a relevant field
